Hello my name is Marco and here are some pics of my
brothers Miguel's 70 Nova named "Project Stepchild". and here is a little info
on it. He bought the car running with a straight six for $75.00 cash we drove it
to my dads house where he parked it until we bought a 72 Nova for parts and
changed the front end clip and took the doors, trunk and cut out the rear section
as well. We also cut out the left rear quarter panel and replaced it with one
from a salvage yard. After the body was complete He added a 383 stroker with an
edlebrock 750 cfm. carb, performer rpm intake, screw in studs and guide plates,
190 closed chambered heads, melling HV oil pump with a 7 quart deep sump oil
pan, double roller timming chain, and a pair of headman headers. He also equipt
it with a 4 speed muncee trans with a vertigate shifter and installed a 4 core
radiator and a set of front disc brakes. The interior had bucket seats with a 5
piont harnes and toped it off with a set of liquid filled auto meter gauges. he
owned the car for 6 years before trading it in for a chevy truck and although
the car may be gone the memories we shared fixing it will last a life time...
